Welcome to Woman on a Sober Mission
Woman on a Sober Mission started as a private Instagram page I created to keep myself accountable and get honest about my drinking. It was my diary, my support system and the one place I could admit how much alcohol was holding me back. Post by post, it helped me stay sober and it has now been over five years alcohol free.
What began as a hidden Instagram account has grown into a community of women who are sober curious, alcohol free or simply questioning the role alcohol plays in their lives. This website is the next step. Here I can go deeper than a caption and share longer blogs, tools and reflections on sobriety, mindset, wellness and fitness.
If you are trying to change your relationship with alcohol, want practical support in early sobriety or are looking for real stories from someone who has been there, you are in the right place. I write about the emotional side of getting sober, the mindset shifts that made a difference for me, and how movement, strength training and looking after my body helped me rebuild my confidence.
You will find blogs on alcohol free living, honest reflections on being a woman in her forties, and resources to support your own sober journey, whether you are on day one or many years in.
If you would like to know more about who I am and how this all began, you can read my story on the About Me page.
